Andrew Nassir, President, conceived and led the development of the first integrated student financial aid software system for higher education in 1969. This subsequently became operational initially for career schools then for the University of Southern California, Pepperdine University, Michigan State University, and others. Education Systems, Inc. was formed in October 1997 as an extension of the Education Systems Exchange spin-off in 1996 from the nonprofit American College Testing (ACT) organization.
