The EMAS brand of software products is more than just the code that inhabits them. It represents twelve years of hard work to create the most focused and effective recruitment software on the market today. It is the product of a company whose staff has been delivering innovative software solutions to higher education clients since 1969. EMAS is a suite of software but it is also the people behind the software.
Andy is a Founder of Education Systems and is responsible for marketing, sales, advance planning, and strategic alliances. He has 36 years software business experience with student enrollment management and student financial aid software systems. Mr. Nassir graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy (B.S.E.S.-'63), graduated the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, M.S.E.-EE, '64); and at the University of Southern California attained PhD Candidate status in EE - Optimization and Control Theory. In 1969 he founded Information & Communications, Inc. and merged the company in 1990 into American College Testing of Iowa City, Iowa. In 1996 he led the spinout and formation of Education Systems in La Jolla.
Andrei joined ESI in 1998 with prior background as senior software development engineer for the EMAS Recruitment Pro/EMAS Telecounseling Pro software application development at USA Group Noel-Levitz. Dr. Sergeev has more than 15 years of experience in computing and application development. Dr. Sergeev received his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Moscow. He completed B.S. requirements for Computer Sciences at the University of Iowa and is certified in Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro and software management.
Sharon joined Education Systems in 1992 with 10 years of experience in business requirements analysis, data and process modeling, systems analysis/design, programming and management. In her twelve years at Education Systems, Sharon has been working in various roles on each of the products offered including financial aid and recruitment and was instrumental in creating the EMAS SEM Data model. In her current role, Sharon oversees all development activities, with special emphasis on the web platform using .NET technologies.
Anna Gosselin has been at Education Systems, Inc (ESI) working with EMAS Pro since 1999. She has served in the areas of client services, lead technical support, implementation lead, technical sales support, client relations, and SEM project manager. Anna serves as a customer advocate and liaison to product development, ensuring that the products moves in the right direction. She has held positions in Project Management at local not-for-profit organizations where she provided technical support, training, and documentation. Anna's contracting history includes software testing of computerized aptitude tests for Harcourt Brace (education publishing). In addition to her many years in software development, she has worked for Stanford University Centennial Office and the Palo Alto Centennial 1994. She received her B.S. in Social Sciences from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, where she worked for the Dean of Student Affairs Office as an undergraduate.
