EMAS Pro seeks a qualified individual to help provide product support and IT services to EMAS Pro staff and clients in our La Jolla California office. This role overlaps technical product/services support with elements of IT support across a wide range of technologies and platforms.
Activities to include, but not limited to
• Provide technical support escalation for clients and staff (EMAS Pro web and desktop products)
• Provide IT aspects of client implementation (product installation support)
• Management of EMAS Pro workstations and servers (Windows)
• Assist with management and support of EMAS hosted environment (Windows, Citrix, SQL Server, IIS, AD)
• Assist with management and support of SaaS cloud product (CentOS, Tomcat, MySQL, Amazon EC2)
• Coordinate with team members to investigate client issues and tickets
• Assist with or create technical documentation and user guides
• Assist with or create data sources and reports
• Assist with the review or creation of specifications, use cases, test plans, and ticket evaluation.
Technical Requirements
• Experience with SQL database servers (e.g. MySQL, SQL Server), database management
• Solid understanding of relational databases, comfortable writing SQL queries and working with data.
• Strong experience deploying and supporting Windows based workstations
• Comfortable managing Windows based servers
• Familiarity with web servers (e.g. Tomcat, IIS), management, configuration, and deployment options
• Familiarity with networking, firewalls, VPN technology
• Experience with Citrix deployment and troubleshooting is a plus
• Experience with Linux systems is a plus
• Requires a technical degree or diploma and 3 years of experience
• Must be able to pass background check
