Education Systems, Inc.[ESI], has an position opening for a marketing and communication savvy individual to take on the role of Marketing Communications & PR Specialist. ES EMAS Pro software provides College/University Student Financial Aid offices and Admissions innovative solutions for their recruitment, enrollment, and financial aid needs. Join our growing team as a Marketing Communications & PR Specialist, to promote our brand and our leading solutions in Enrollment Management and Education CRM.

Basic Functions and Responsibilities Summarized

  • Assist in the development of an annual tactical plan to accomplish business strategies. - Identifies, develops and implements tactical programs.
  • Develop and maintain repository of collateral information to support the sales process through agents and business partners. Update & maintain information on company intranet
  • Develop relationships with editors/reporters and create appropriate materials and messages to capitalize on media opportunities - press releases, article placement, advertisements, and trade shows
  • Monitor, maintain and enhance web site content that will attract prospects and support customers. Track and improve search engine ranking using SEO best practices and social marketing vehicles
  • Monitor and improve internet ad campaigns (if relevant to strategy)
  • Maximize our industry visibility through participation at conferences/ trade associations/professional groups: including selection of appropriate events, determination of level of participation, and management of budget
  • Write internal and external communication, which may include, but is not limited to: content for websites, brochures, case studies, direct mail letters, industry articles, general internal and external correspondence, presentations, ads, flyers, posters
  • Responsible for all major company communications to customers, partners, banks and other business partners
  • Work with industry analysts/ strategy in collecting information to create campaigns that will increase brand awareness and product exposure
  • Manage/protect/Develop the company brand
  • May assist with the planning, coordinating and execution of various meetings, e.g. sales meetings and client seminars
  • Tracking of marketing expenses and accruals, and preparation for monthly P&L review and annual budget process
  • Outsource campaigns/ PR / collateral if and where needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of Marketing Communications experience
  • Familiarity with enterprise software marketing
