Andy Nassir, EMAS Pro President & CEO

Andrew M. Nassir, President & CEO

Andrew Nassir has more than 45 years of experience leading and providing higher education CRM and administrative software solutions. In 1969, Andy launched higher ed technology organizations which today have become Education Systems EMAS Pro. His goal remains to provide well designed, highly effective, student-focused software solutions. Initially, these solutions were design engineered for student financial aid, and then for strategic enrollment management at colleges and universities across the United States.

Before founding Education Systems Inc., Andy was the Executive Director of the ACT Educational Technology Center in La Jolla, CA which provided the SAFE® System and other student financial aid software systems across higher education. Prior to this, Andy had served for 22 years as President and Co-Founder of Information & Communications, Inc. Andy earlier provided leadership national priority technology projects in the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force Advanced Plans division.

He serves as Education Systems Chief Executive Officer and President. He is responsible for Financial Administration, Business Development, and Strategic Planning & Alliances.

He is a Member of the Board of Directors for Education Systems, Inc. as well as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Education Systems Exchange, our not-for-profit sister organization.

Andrew Nassir is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of California, holds a B.S. degree in Engineering Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy, the M.S.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and has PhD Candidate status at the University of Southern California with academic focus on Optimization Theory & Computational Techniques.

In addition to helping our EMAS Colleagues “dive head first” into next-generation student success solutions for higher education, Andy enjoys family, reading, workouts, golf, and travel.

Andrei Sergeev, CTO/CIO

Andrei Sergeev, Ph.D., Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer

Andrei has more than 20 years of experience with CRM solutions and higher education. Andrei came to Education Systems Inc. in 1998 when USA Group Noel Levitz, now Ruffalo Noel Levitz, divested to Education Systems their EMAS enrollment management student recruitment software and intellectual property to refocus on their consulting.

As Chief Technology Officer, a.k.a. our friendly “Innovation Officer,” Andrei gets to put his passions for efficient and effective system design to work! Leading the development strategy, Andrei works with the EMAS IT and Production Team to define, refine and evolve our system architecture and technologies for next generation solutions for higher education. Our future is in the cloud with APIs to enable unobstructed, safe and secure data flow.

Andrei is thrilled to spend his days conceptualizing and building creative yet cost-effective ways to help our clients in higher education be more effective in their everyday activities so that they can stay on the competitive cutting edge with the students they are trying to recruit.

Andrei was a Special Student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Iowa, and holds a Ph.D. from Lomonosov Moscow State University and a M.Sc. with Honors from Shevchenko Kiev State University.

Anna Gosselin, VP Client Services

Anna Gosselin, Vice President of Client Services

Anna has been working with CRM systems for over 25 years in both the education and not-for-profit areas. In every role from administration to leadership, her analytical strengths and problem solving strengths have resulted in strong and trusting relationships with constituents with a focus on their sustainable success. Anna got her start with Education Systems Inc. in 1999 providing technical support to clients across the nation. She grew into product testing and training and then on to product implementation with new clients. She soon became the Director of Client Services, managing the Support, Implementation, and Client Education Teams, while at the same time staying actively engaged with clients. Anna is currently responsible for client relations and product evangelism and provides leadership all areas involving client experience, client feedback, and custom solutions.

Before joining Education Systems Inc., Anna served as a Development Associate at Francis Parker School for 5 years and prior to that served as database manager for SDTMA and Palo Alto Centennial.

Anna has a B.S. in Social Sciences from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo.

Chris Nelson, VP of Development, Production & IT Operations

Chris Nelson, Vice President of Development, Production & IT Operations

Chris has been with Education Systems since 2002 and has more than 15 years of experience with CRM solutions and higher education.

Chris leads local and distributed IT, QA, product, project, and development teams. He is responsible for DevOps and infrastructure architecture on Amazon Web Services for Windows & Linux stacks, database administration, as well as JavaScript and .NET software development.

Before joining Education Systems Inc., Chris worked in software development for the banking and finance industry in Canada.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science, Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology in Calgary.
